Here is the final look of rubber stamp effect.
- Create a new document in Adobe Photoshop. Grab Type Tool and type the words of the stamp.
- Click “Create warped text” in the type tool panel.
- Choose Arc Style and drag Bend slider to 100%. Click OK to apply this adjustment.
- You’ll get this.
- Press “F7” to open the layers palette, select the type layer and then press “Ctrl + J” to duplicate the layer.
- Select Edit > Transform > Rotate 180° and then get this.
- Hold down “Ctrl” and drag the down side of the stamp until make the words being a circle.
- Press “Shift + Ctrl + N” to make a new layer.
- Use Elliptical Marquee Tool to draw a circle path like this.
- Right click and select Stroke.
- Set Stroke Width = 15 px and click OK to apply the settings.
- Use Elliptical Marquee Tool to draw a smaller circle path.
- Right click and select Stroke again. This time set Stroke Width = 6 px and click OK to apply the settings.
- Click the eye icon in front of the 2 type layers to make them invisible.
- Use Type Tool to type an exclamation in the circle.
- Press “Shift + Ctrl + N” to make a new layer. Select Filter > Render > Clouds to apply Clouds filter to the new layer.
- Select Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Set Amount to a low value so that the stamp looks realistic, select Monochromatic checkbox to make sure the noise points are just white and black color. Then click OK to finish adding noise.
- Change the noise layer’s blending mode to “Screen” and make the 2 text layers visible.
- Select all layers in Layers palette and press “Ctrl + E” to merge them to one single layer.
- Select Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation. Select Colorize checkbox and drag the sliders to adjust the rubber stamp’s color. I’ll set Hue = 360 and Saturation = 100 then click OK to apply the settings.
