Key Lessons in life

Rumi, April 26, 2025

14. Life Is Good:

Life is not fair and doesn’t treat everyone equally but this is because every human being is different from the other, and that is why life isn’t the same for everyone.

The honest truth is; while life isn’t fair, it’s still worth living.

While there will be moments when you feel like giving up, know that things will change. After all, nothing lasts forever.

13. Take Small Steps:

People will often tell you that life is short, but that doesn’t mean that you have to rush through it. Try taking smaller steps if you aren’t ready to run towards something and you aren’t sure of it yet. Give yourself the time you need to make big decisions.

12. Enjoy Life:

Life isn’t a game, and those who like moving through it like it is, end up losing themselves in the process. So, spread love as much as you can and try to enjoy the life you’ve been given. After all, you only live once.

11.Build Relationships:

At the end of the day when things start looking bleak and your days in this world become numbered, you will realize that the only real thing that matters is the people that love you and are around you. It is important to understand that money can’t ever replace loving and caring family.

10. Spend Money Wisely:

Not everyone has been blessed with wealth in this world, make sure you aren’t being ungrateful with your spendings. Spend money wisely; don’t waste or over-spend it.

9. Don’t Argue For The Sake Of Winning:

Some people argue for the sake of feeding their ego. This kind of behavior produces grievances and results in losing people. Be honest with yourself and only argue if you don’t have a choice. If someone is screaming or being loud unnecessarily, try your best to remain calm.

8. Cry With Someone:

Being alone only manages to further deepen your wounds. Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on and an arm to support them.

7. Be At Peace With The Past:

If you are not yet over your past, you can’t move on. There’s no good regretting over the past, instead, learn from it and apply it to the present to make your future brighter.

7 Things You Should Never Stop Doing In Life
6. Let Your Children See You Cry:

Crying doesn’t make a person weak, in fact, it symbolizes your strength. It is okay to cry in front of your children sometimes. It will help them understand that you are human too, and when your son or daughter will comfort you, it will enable them to become stronger in the process as well.

5. Don’t Compete:

No two people are same, no two lives are same. so how can you think that your journey can be compared with theirs? Don’t compare your life and your achievements with others when you have a different path and a different story.

4. Relationships Shouldn’t Be Secrets:

If a relationship is secret, it isn’t real and you aren’t serious. Why would you be afraid to show your love for someone, to the world? If someone really loves you, they will not hide you. Instead, they will want the world to know about you.

3. What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger:

Every challenge, every turn, every incident that doesn’t take your life, prepares you and makes you stronger. So, face the bumps in the road head on!

2. Happiness Can Be Found At Any Time:

We become so involved and blinded by something we want, that we forget that happiness is not a product that can be bought but actually a feeling that comes from within our souls and ourselves. It is important to live in the present and it is essential to absorb the happiness and love the day brings us.

1. Don’t Stop:

Don’t stop because you are scared, go out there and chase your dreams. If you’ll never step out of your comfort zone, you will never be able to become the person you’ve always dreamt of being.
