Ubuntu- adding new interfaces

It was a little tricky than my centos or suse or fedora experiences, start looking for-

/etc/network/interfaces

And here goes my configurations-

# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

# The loopback network interface
auto lo eth0 eth1
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
iface eth0 inet static
address 123.45.6.78
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 123.45.6.0
broadcast 123.45.6.255
gateway 123.45.6.1
dns-nameservers 127.0.0.1 202.53.160.6
dns-search ensiigen.com
pre-up iptables-restore < /etc/iptables
post-down iptables-save -c > /etc/iptables
# dns-* options are implemented by the resolvconf package, if installed

iface eth1 inet static
address 192.168.0.107
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
broadcast 192.168.0.255

Now need to restart the ethernet interfaces-

/etc/init.d/networking restart
